Who We Are

PRIDEHealth Education is a nonprofit organization based in Seattle, WA, founded by Dominic C. Flores to advance education, mentorship, and community health for LGBTQ+ individuals. Built on the belief that identity-affirming guidance and health literacy are essential for equity, the organization partners with volunteers, corporate resource groups, and community leaders to create programs that empower people to thrive authentically.

Leadership Team

Dominic Cabuco Flores

Founder, President & Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Dominic C. Flores is a healthcare leader, educator, and advocate dedicated to advancing health equity, inclusive education, and mentorship within the LGBTQ+ community. He is the Founder and Executive Director of PRIDE Health Education, where he leads initiatives that connect healthcare, education, and community partnerships to create sustainable programs that address disparities and promote belonging.

Dominic’s career spans roles as a medical instructor, social worker, and administrator in hospice and skilled nursing facilities, as well as clinical and patient care settings. He has also held leadership roles in the biopharmaceutical industry, where he was recognized as Pfizer Biopharmaceutical’s LGBTQ+ Advocate of the Year in 2025.

He is a member of Alpha Chi National College Honor Society, Phi Delta Kappa International Honors Society, The National Society of Collegiate Scholars, and Alpha Epsilon Gamma Chapter. Dominic is currently pursuing his Doctor of Education in Organizational Leadership with a Healthcare Administration emphasis at Grand Canyon University, with a dissertation exploring mentorship, identity, and workplace belonging among early-career gay men in biopharma.

In addition to his professional and academic work, Dominic volunteers his time supporting patients diagnosed with HIV/AIDS in the LGBTQ+ community. His leadership and lifelong commitment to equity, mentorship, and advocacy guide PRIDE Health Education’s mission to uplift voices, build inclusive programs, and strengthen community health.

William “Kuya’Kai” Peetoom

Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer (COO)

William “Kuya’Kai” Peetoom is a community leader, entrepreneur, and advocate dedicated to advancing health equity, inclusive education, and intergenerational mentorship. In his role as Commissioner for Senior Affairs for the City of San Diego, he collaborates on initiatives to improve senior housing, public safety, and community wellness, while fostering partnerships that strengthen civic and nonprofit efforts. As Founder of Kaizen Group Intl., William has developed innovative programs that integrate financial literacy, Section 125 benefits, and legacy wealth planning, helping families, small businesses, and underserved communities build sustainable futures. His professional affiliations with National Life Group, Preferred Financial Alliance, Foresters Financial, and Champion Health allow him to contribute valuable insights and connections that support PRIDE Health Education’s growth. With a longstanding commitment to policy advocacy, mentorship, and cross-cultural collaboration, William’s service on the Leadership Board helps broaden the organization’s reach, deepen its community impact, and advance its vision of inclusive health education.

He brings expertise in health equity, financial literacy, and inclusive mentorship, along with professional affiliations across the insurance and healthcare sectors. His role on the PRIDE Health Education Leadership Board supports the organization’s mission by fostering community partnerships, sustainable programs, and broader impact.
